  • Sellers (Service Providers)

    • Basic Rules

    • You need to be a Registered GigOfTheDay.com user to sell and buy services. Registration is free.
    • No Commissions on Any Gigs
    • Sellers and buyers identity is anonymous. Do not request or provide emails to users on the site
    • Posting of adult, illegal, copyright protected, violent, nonsense or other improper material on the site is strictly prohibited.
    • Content on the site is moderated. Users posting, messaging or suggesting any of the above prohibited subjects, will get their account blocked permanently.
    • Note: offering an illegal service may result in the seller and buyer may be liable for any legal problems that happen because of the transaction.

    • Payment Process

    • When buyers order one of your services, they will be required to pay for the Service in advance.
    • You will be directly paid to paypal by buyer, hence GigOftheDay do not take any responisbilty of disputes regarding payments.

    • Handling Orders

    • When a buyer orders one of your services, you will be notified and asked to Accept or Reject the order. Rejecting an order should only be used when you will not be able to perform your offering on time. If you are away and cannot handle orders, it is good idea to suspend your services from your "My GOTD" control panel.
    • You have 168 hours to decide if you accept the order, after that time the order will be automatically cancelled by GigOfTheDay.com .
    • Responding to orders quickly will increase your positive feedback.

    • Delivering Your Work, Passing Material and Submitting Completed Work

    • During your work, you are required to use only GigOfTheDay.com 's internal mail system to pass material from and to your buyer. Using the GigOfTheDay.com mail system protects the seller's and buyer's privacy. Never ask a buyer to switch to third party email.
    • You are responsible to scan all transferred files for viruses and malware. GigOfTheDay.com will not be held responsible for any damages caused by infected files.
    • You can access all communications and files transferred related to an order from the Order Details page.
    • Make sure you describe your services final deliverable in detail. Indicate amounts, durations, file formats etc.

    • Seller's Positive Feedback.

    • Your positive feedback is based on buyers feedback and your responsiveness to new service orders (Accept/Reject).
    • Work quality and buyer feedback have a dramatic effect on your Positive Feedback Score.

  • Buyers (Service Shoppers)

    • Ordering Services

    • Purchase of services from GigOfTheDay.com can be done using your PayPal or credit card (credit card purchases are handled by PayPal as well).
    • Once payment is confirmed by seller, your order will be started by him ASAP.
    • You can cancel your order at any time until the seller Accepts your order. Once the seller accepts your order you will not be able to cancel it.
    • Any funds you may have in your balance will automatically be used on your next purchase (no need to go through the payment process again).
    • Sellers and buyers identity is anonymous. Do not request or provide emails to users on the site
    • Note: ordering an illegal service may result in the seller and buyer being liable for any legal problems that happen because of the transaction.

  • General Terms

    • Spammers will be permanently blocked and banned!
    • In case of dispute with a seller you should use GigOfTheDay.com 's internal dispute resolution or contact paypal directly.
    • GigOfTheDay.com reserve the right to put any account on hold or permanently cancel accounts due to misbehavior. Users with accounts on hold will not be able to sell or buy on GigOfTheDay.com .
    • GigOfTheDay.com has the right to display various advertisements throughout the site's pages and/or mailing system. Advertisements may include links to third party companies and products. GigOfTheDay will under no circumstance, be held responsible for the quality of the advertised products or for any harm, financial or otherwise, that may be caused to the end user by using said products.
    • Offering and/or ordering illegal services on GigOfTheDay.com may result in the seller and buyer being liable for any legal problems that happen because of the transaction. Under no circumstance will GigOfTheDay be held accountable for sellers and/or buyers activity.
    • *** Important: Anyone (seller/buyer/guest or otherwise) noticing or suspecting an illegal service presented on GigOftheDay, is hereby asked to contact us immediately and notify us of the service in question.

    • Disputes
